Our Executive Team

Douglas M. Bell

President & Chief Executive Officer

Doug was promoted to his current position on February 1, 2013. Previously Doug was the Vice President of Underwriting and U-Haul Insurance Programs with the company since 2002. Prior to 2002, he was the Director of Marketing for Repwest. In 2012, Doug also served as the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Repwest, Doug has worked in the insurance industry for over 27 years in a number of roles including Chief Financial Officer, Director of Product Development and Marketing, Senior Financial Auditor and a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Group of Coopers & Lybrand.

Doug was licensed as CPA in Pennsylvania in 1982. Doug received his bachelors of science degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee.





Katherine L. Zappavigna

Vice President of Claims

Kathy has held the position of Vice President of Claims since January 2003. Prior to 2003 she managed the Nebraska Regional Field Claim Office for nearly 8 years. She began her career with Repwest in January 1996 as a Senior Claim Adjuster.

Kathy is responsible for overseeing all claims operations and claim support departments for the United States and Canada. The claims division consists of 5 Regional Claim Offices. And several support departments, such as SIU, Subrogation, Desk Review Program, and Central Reporting, just to name a few. The entire claims division and support staff consists of approximately 200 people.

Prior to joining Repwest, Kathy has worked in the insurance industry and self insured environment since 1989.

Kristin Spears Korinek

Vice President of Investments & Treasury Management

Kristin was promoted to the position of Vice President of Investments & Treasury Management in 1998. She began her career with Repwest in 1994.

In her current position Kristin is responsible for the invested asset portfolio as well as the treasury functions of Repwest Insurance Company.

Prior to joining Repwest, Kristin worked for the City of Tempe.

She holds a MBA from the University of Phoenix, a bachelors of science degree in accounting from Arizona State University and a bachelors of science degree in managements from Arizona State University.
