Safemove provides cargo protection, medical and accidental death insurance while renting a U-Haul truck. In addition to the insurance benefits customers who purchase Safemove also receive a damage waiver which frees you of responsibility for damage to the U-Haul rental truck. Safetow

Safetow is an affordable protection package specifically for those who will be towing a trailer or may be towing a vehicle. Like Safemove, there is cargo protection, medical and accidental death insurance. Also like Safemove, there is a damage waiver which frees you of responsibility for damage to the rented trailer, auto transport, tow dolly or tow bar.

Super Safemove

Super Safemove provides all of the benefits of Safemove plus additional liability insurance above the U-Haul Rental Contract. Coverage limits equal the difference between $1,000,000 (combined single limit per occurrence) and the liability protection limits under the U-Haul Rental Contract. The U-Haul lessee and other authorized drivers are covered while driving a U-Haul truck within the United States and Canada, but only if the truck is rented and returned in the United States.

SafeStorRenter

Similar to home insurance, SafeStorRenter protects apartment renters in situations that everyone can face: theft, water damage, fire and other unforeseen losses landlords’ policies do not cover.

SafeStorRenter covers apartment renters personal property such as furniture, electronics, computer equipment, clothing, etc. Landlords are not responsible for lessee’s goods. Landlord insurance only covers the building structure and not apartment renters personal property. For that reason we offer SafeStorRenter, an inexpensive insurance policy made specifically to safeguard apartment renters’ belongings.

Repwest provides claim handling services to U-Haul through 4 field claim offices located in Phoenix, Omaha, Philadelphia and New York. In addition we have claim staff on the ground in Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles. Repwest handles all uninsured property claims, general liability and auto liability self-insured claims.

Risk Transfer

Repwest provides risk transfer services to AMERCO and U-Haul Int’l not only for insurance program and coverages underwritten by Repwest but insurance programs and coverages provided by independent third party insurers. Repwest’s ability to analyze and underwrite those programs ensures that AMERCO and U-Haul Int’l are paying appropriate premiums for the risk transferred to outside insurance companies. Insurance programs such as workers compensation, property, excess liability, etc. are examples of the risk transfer services provided.
